Fantastic display

Mr Turvey was lucky enough to visit our link schools in Lebanon over half term. Here he is at College Elysee, in Hazmiyeh. What really impressed him was the quality of the children’s English (their third language after Arabic and French) and all the things they’ve found out already about the UK. Look at these amazing models of London.

This picture and all the fantastic posters and models have inspired year 5 to research the Lebanon themselves. Watch this space to see what they have found out!

Laurence and Sophie created two wonderful book covers for their future autobiographies. Keep your eye out for Laurence in any future England cricket teams, and if you have a poorly pet, Sophie is the one to ask for help.

Pupils at Darrick Wood Junior schoolhave a history of helping the community around us. for the last few years we have been helping those children in Bromley who are not as fortunate as ourselves by collecting presents which are distributed by the Salvation Army.
